From the time a baby girl is born, she is taught that she is made of "sugar and spice and everything nice." She is wrapped in frilly blankets, buttoned up in lacy dresses, adorned with ribbons, bows and everything that is soft and sparkly and pink... lots and lots of nauseating pink! As she grows and begins to observe the world around her and experience the changes within her, she comes to understand that sometimes she is more "spice than sugar" - often too spicy according to the "ladies" handbook.
